This book was over eighteen years in the making. It started when the author wrote a short letter to his daughter on her first birthday, and continued with a letter on each subsequent birthday until she graduated from high school eighteen years later. He kept the letters in a box in the closet and did not reveal them until now. This moving collection includes the eighteen letters, plus a few extras.
